Firstly I'd like to apologize for any spelling errors I may have made, and may make in the future. I'm really a hopeless writer when it comes to this, so sorry. I just corrected an error in an earlier post

Secondly I've got some lamenting to do.
Why is it that in christian culture, the young (ie. people my age) are not ready to recieve constructive criticism. This was vividly illustrated last night when I saw the screen name of a friends friend, and saw that friend trying to tell that person that their screen name was less than Christian. All it did was prove the saying "A man convinced against his will is a man unconvinced still", for they did not listen to my friend.
It saddens me, because I know its not just an isolated problem. People aren't willing to learn. We assume that once we reach a level, we cannot get any higher, and correction doesn't matter, because we know what is best! Clearly this is an incorrect view. Its so easy to see it in others, but we need to look into our own hearts. Are we humble enough to accept correction?
The other side of the coin is that because people not willing to accept correction, less and less of us are willing to give it, because we know that people are going to try and rationalize, and get out of it. As christians we need to be prepared to put our neck on the line. We need to be prepared to tell someone when they act out of line with scripture. Above all, we need discernment, so we can know how far we should go to show the person that their behaviour could be improved.
Henceforth I will define Maturity to be the willingness to accept correction.

Thirdly, I will leave and do the dishes (gotta have three points!!!)
cye!
