Man! I'm so stoked.
A friend of mine who hasn't been to church in ages has decided to come!! Yay! I took her and her sister to riccarton community church this evening, and I think they were touched. Its not like they were totally convicted or anything, but I think we are seeing the beginning of a change in her life. It is so awesome to see the Lord work in her life. I've recently been praying for these things for her:
1) That God draws her to himself (Jn 6:44)
2) That she will seek to know God (Act 17:27, Dt 4:29)
3) That she will believe the scriptures (1 Thess 2:13, Ro 10:17)
4) That satan is bound from blinding her to the truth (Mt 13:19, 2 Cor 4:4)
5) That the Holy Spirit will work in her (Jn 16:8-13)
6) That God will send someone to lead her to Christ, if not I (Mt 9:37,38)
7) That she will believe in Christ as Saviour (Jn 1:12, Jn 5:24)
8) That she will turn from sin (Acts 17:30,31, Acts 3:19)
9) That she will confess Christ as Lord (Ro 10:9,10)
10) That she will yield all to follow Christ (2 Cor 5:15, Phil 3:7,8)
11) That she will take root and grow in Christ (Col 2:6,7)
So if you would like to join with me in praying for her, that would be cool, especially as I plan on taking her to an evangelistic meeting tomorrow.
